Esteemed Participants,
It is with great honour and excitement that I welcome you to ADUMUN’25 Legacy, organized with the support of Aydın Adnan Menderes University.
As your Secretary-General, I take immense pride in introducing a conference that goes far beyond formal debate. ADUMUN’25 Legacy is not only a simulation of diplomacy; it is a celebration of youth, leadership, and vision. Whether you join us as a delegate, an executive board member, or staff, you are not just participating in a conference; you are becoming part of a growing and meaningful legacy.
Model United Nations is a journey that challenges, transforms, and connects. It encourages you to question the world around you, to speak with courage, to collaborate across differences, and to lead with both conviction and empathy. Whether this is your first step into MUN or you are returning with experience, this year’s conference has been carefully crafted not only to help you grow intellectually but also to build meaningful friendships, expand your network, and engage with a vibrant community of passionate individuals. At ADUMUN’25 Legacy, you won’t just debate; you will connect, evolve, and be inspired.
On behalf of the entire ADUMUN’25 Legacy Secretariat, I look forward to seeing the passion, intellect, and creativity each of you will bring to our shared experience.
Model United Nations (MUN) is an academic simulation of the United Nations where students take on the roles of diplomats and representatives to discuss and solve real-world issues. Through debate, negotiation, and resolution writing, participants improve their public speaking, critical thinking, and teamwork skills in a formal, diplomatic setting.
ADUMUN’25 Legacy is the fourth annual session of the Model United Nations (MUN) conference organized by Aydın Adnan Menderes University. This four-day academic simulation of the United Nations brings together students to engage in diplomacy, debate, and decision-making. Participants can apply for various roles including Executive Board members, delegates, press team members, and administrative staff, all of whom contribute to the dynamic and immersive nature of the conference.
Building on the tradition of past editions, ADUMUN’25 Legacy embraces the spirit of its motto #WeAreMore, inviting participants not only to discuss global issues but also to connect, collaborate, and leave a lasting impact.
The official language of ADUMUN’25 Legacy is English. However, there will also be three committees held in Turkish to accommodate participants who prefer to debate in their native language. The language of each committee will be clearly specified during the application process.
Anyone who is currently a high school or university student can apply to attend ADUMUN’25 Legacy. We welcome participants from all levels of Model United Nations experience, whether you are a first-time delegate or a returning MUN veteran.
Participants can apply for various roles including Executive Board members, delegates, press team members, and administrative staff, all of whom contribute to the dynamic and immersive nature of the conference.
As in previous editions, ADUMUN’25 Legacy will be following the Harvard Model United Nations procedure. Custom crisis management guiding will be exclusively published.
All participants are expected to follow a Western Business Attire dress code throughout the conference. This includes suits, blazers, formal shirts or blouses, and dress shoes, and applies to participants.
Please avoid casual clothing such as jeans, sneakers, t-shirts, or sportswear during sessions. Following the dress code reflects professionalism and contributes to the formal atmosphere of the conference.
If you have questions about what is or isn't acceptable, feel free to contact the ADUMUN team in advance!
